Design and use:
- for spot heating and cooling of metal and plastic parts at machine tools
- with the dual function of generating both hot and cold air
- hot air for fast drying or heat treatment
- cold air is primarily used where lubricants and coolants are not desired, especially in laboratories
- is connected to and operated with compressed air (3 - 8 bar)
- the operation is based on the principle of the vortex pipe, where two opposed rotating air streams are generated
- via a needle valve volume flow and proportion of cold air can be adjusted
